Jenny Del Fuego is a Filipino-American artist, performer and writer based in Indianapolis. She incorporates found and communally sourced elements into site and time-specific installations, embedding traces of personal and collective memory into each work. Del Fuego examines themes of identity, material culture, resilience and the environment. She exhibits at universities, galleries and public institutions. and performs on stages and in third spaces. Recent awards for the Fine Arts graduate of Indiana University include a Process/Progress Fellowship, a wellness grant from Indy Arts Council and residencies in the Midwest. Her nomadic practice has planted collaborations and works in collections across five continents. She has a solo show this September and will be published in the forthcoming issue of The Indianapolis Review.
